Western Herd is an independent brewery based on a hilltop farm in County Clare in the west of Ireland. Inspired by big American hop-forward beers, the brewery was one of leading lights of the burgeoning Irish craft beer movement.
The bullhead identity evokes the brewery’s farm origins and serves as a consistent visual thread from bottles and cans to the beer tap. Each beer has a distinct colour split, inspired by the wild Atlantic coastline of Co Clare.
Since its inception in 2016, the brand has gone from strength to strength, with an ever expanding range of beer, two flagship brewpubs and nationwide distribution.
